Please Join Us in Song
Parishioners are welcome to join one of the musical groups to assist in leading the singing during our liturgies.
An invitation is open for singers and instrumentalists to join the choir to lead singing and provide special music at the 9:00 AM Mass on Sunday. The choir gathers to review the music for the liturgy one hour before Mass.
Singers and instrumentalists are invited to become a part of the Saturday Music Ensemble and lead the singing at the 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday. A special invitation is being extended to students 7th grade and up, as well as adults of all ages-guitarists, pianists, if you play any instrument or sing-come and join this group. The Saturday Music Ensemble practices at 4:00 PM before Mass.
If you are interested in learning more about any of the

Music in the Liturgy
"Liturgical worship is given a more noble form when it is celebrated in song, with the ministers of each degree fulfilling their ministry and the people participating in it." (Constitution on the Liturgy)
The "Music in the Liturgy" subpage contains information about the role of music in the liturgy. The Vatican II Documents and the Roman Missal give direction for music during the liturgy. The scripture readings serve as inspiration for the music being sung during Mass. Learn more about the relevance of music in the liturgy by visiting this page often.
