Religious Education classes for St. John’s and Holy Rosary parishes are held throughout the school year (September – April) at St. John’s Catholic Church in Grand Marais. Classes for 1st – 5th grade students are held after school on Wednesday afternoons and classes for 6th – 12th grade students are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm. !st Reconciliation and 1st Communion are celebrated during a student's 2nd grade year.

Confirmation is celebrated during the students 11th or 12th grade year, although preparation starts in the student's 8th or 9th year. (Two grade levels are combined throughout the preparatory years.)
